Privacy Policy – Appointments & Reports

Last updated: March 2026. This policy covers the Appointments & Reports app (Android) and this website.

1. Developer

Appointments & Reports is an independent app developed by an individual developer. For any privacy-related questions, contact us.

2. Data we collect

The app stores data you enter yourself:

  • Clients: name, phone number, email address, birthday, and notes.
  • Appointments: date, time, duration, service, price, and notes.
  • Financial records: income entries and expenses you add manually.
  • Settings: your preferences, working hours, reminder configurations, and service catalogue.

All of this data is created by you and belongs to you. We do not collect it, read it, or process it — it stays on your device.

3. Contacts permission (READ_CONTACTS)

  • The app can access your device contacts only when you explicitly tap "Import from Contacts" to create a new client.
  • Only the selected contact's name, phone number, and email are used.
  • Your full contacts list is never uploaded, stored, or shared.

4. Where your data is stored

  • Locally on your device — all data is stored on your phone or tablet. The app works fully offline.
  • Firebase (Google Cloud) — optional: if you sign in with your Google account, your data is synced to your personal Firebase account under your own user ID. This keeps your data in sync across your own devices. You can disable this at any time from the app settings.

5. Third-party services

The app uses the following services:

  • Google Sign-In / Firebase — for optional authentication and cloud sync. Subject to Google's Privacy Policy.

No advertising SDKs or data brokers are used.

6. What we do NOT do

  • We do NOT sell your data to anyone.
  • We do NOT show ads.
  • We do NOT share your data with third parties beyond Firebase, needed to run optional cloud sync.
  • We do NOT have access to your appointments, clients, or financial records.

7. Data collected by this website

This website does not collect personal data directly. If analytics are enabled, only anonymous usage data (page views, referral source, device type) will be collected. You will be informed via the cookie banner before any tracking begins, and you can decline at any time.

8. Cookies

This website uses a single cookie to remember your analytics preference (accepted or declined). No tracking cookies are set without your explicit consent.

9. Your rights

You have the right to:

  • Access, edit, or delete any data you entered in the app at any time.
  • Export a full copy of your data from the app settings (JSON format).
  • Delete all local data from the app settings.
  • Delete cloud-synced data from within the app or by contacting us.
  • Request complete data deletion by contacting us at the email address below.

10. Data retention

Your data is retained for as long as you use the app. If you delete the app, local data is removed from your device. Cloud data (if sync was enabled) can be deleted from within the app before uninstalling, or by contacting us.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy occasionally. The updated version will be published on this page with a revised date.

12. Contact

For any privacy-related questions or data deletion requests: contact us.

13. Legal basis for processing (GDPR)

We process your personal data on the following legal bases under GDPR Art. 6: (a) Performance of a contract — the data you enter is necessary to provide the app's core functionality (managing appointments, clients, and financial records); (b) Legitimate interests — anonymous analytics (if enabled) help us improve the app. You can withdraw consent at any time via the cookie banner.

14. International data transfers

If you enable cloud sync, your data is stored in Firebase (Google Cloud), which may process data on servers outside the European Economic Area (EEA), including in the United States. Google complies with EU data transfer requirements through Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs). For more information, see Google's Privacy Policy.

15. Supervisory authority & age restriction

  • If you are located in the EU/EEA, you have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority (DPA).
  • This app is not intended for children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
